HX is an Australian-owned transport company specialising in the last-mile delivery of bulky and oversized freight, with a strong focus on residential (B2C) deliveries. Over 93% of our consignments are delivered directly to homes across Australia, supporting the growing demand for a reliable, consumer-focused solution in the bulky freight delivery segment.

 

Several years ago, HX recognised a major gap in the transport industry. While eCommerce made it easy to purchase everything from furniture to fitness equipment online, the delivery experience for large items remained complex, inconvenient, and often inflexible. Traditionally, customers had to visit a store, then arrange their own vehicle to collect purchases. HX has since developed a purpose-built solution to meet this changing consumer need.

 

By identifying this need, HX developed a solution that simplifies the end-to-end delivery process for oversized items, enabling everyday Australians to purchase large goods online and have them delivered straight to their door, hassle-free.
Our approach is built on a deep understanding of the logistical challenges associated with moving bulky freight to residential addresses. We invested early in building suitable infrastructure and regional network partnerships to support this delivery model,  as well as developing new processes (including technology driven tracking and customer service ticketing) to achieve a robust and reliable B2C delivery solution.

 

HX is now the trusted delivery partner for many of Australia’s most recognised retail brands across industries such as home furnishings, gym equipment, outdoor living, and home renovations. We have almost 400 staff and drivers, along with over 1000 people within our agency and contractor network, providing a comprehensive network of products and services to a wide variety of industries Australia wide. There is almost nowhere we cannot deliver to.
